Welcome to Cowplain Dental Practice

We are delighted to welcome you to our practice. Cowplain Dental Practice was established in 1967. We treat you as a complete person where your teeth are central to our interest in creating a smile you will want to share with everyone. We will introduce you to high quality treatment and a unique standard of professional care. We promise you a dedicated preventative long-term approach.

A full range of dental treatment is available and all alternatives and recommended options will be discussed with you. The final decision will always be left with you. Our success over the past 53 years has been based on the trust we have built up with our families - parents, their children and now their grandchildren. As an established practice we only take new patients on a recommendation from existing patients.

Dental Services

The basis of good oral health is prevention of dental disease. We aim to restore both function and aesthetics. Our services include:

  • Preventative dental care
  • High quality restorative dentistry
  • Cosmetic dentistry
  • Smile makeovers
  • Porcelain crowns, bridges and veneers
  • Tooth coloured fillings
  • Tooth whitening
  • Endodontics - root canal therapy is performed when trauma or decay involves the nerve of the tooth
  • Periodontics - the treatment of gum disease
  • Orthodontics - We offer three different systems of removal or clear, fixed orthodonic braces in our practice. We focus mainly on the front ten teeth. Many people are not happy with how their front teeth look when they smile, but are put off wearing visible braces for a year or two. The speed and less-visible appearance of our systems make them a highly appealing option that can fit anyone's lifestyle.
  • Implants - A dental implant is a titanium metal cylinder which is placed into the jaw. It is used to replace missing teeth. Implants can be used to support fixed crowns and bridges, and can also be used to stabilise dentures. You can have any number of teeth replaced with implants, from one single tooth to a complete set. Implants are a well-established, tried-and-tested treatment, and are seen as the highest standard of care for tooth replacement.
  • Oral surgery
